With the onset of COVID in 2020, our client – a global consumer goods company – experienced a dramatic increase in product demand and revenue growth. This hyper-growth led to the need to onboard thousands of new employees – much of that while in-person gatherings were discouraged and / or limited, creating a significant cultural challenge.

Prior to the Covid lockdown, our Purpose to Impact™ program had been an in-person experience. During COVID, with an increasing number of employees – and a need to bring people together from across the globe – we were asked to create virtual programs that would have the same high impact and net promoter score (NPS of 80+) as our in-person programs.

As COVID began, we piloted and quickly scaled a Virtual Purpose to Impact™ program available to all employees, as well as a Team Purpose journey. This allowed global teams and individuals, spanning from Mexico to China and Australia, to discover and be newly energized by their individual purpose, as well as the core purpose of their group, while working remotely from home.

By the end of 2023, over 1,700 employees had completed the virtual program, most via our shared-delivery format leveraging CLI and internal, client alumni. The program had an NPS score of 80!
