Due to company reorganizations, restructurings, and downsizing adventures, our client – a global consumer goods company – experienced a marked decrease in employee engagement scores, with their HR team among the lowest.

The Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO) asked us to bring the magic of individual purpose to kick-start a dramatic revitalization of the 250-person HR organization. Over a 3-month period every HR resource completed the Purpose to Impact™ journey.

Following the success of this intervention, we were asked to further deliver on two fronts:

  1. Working with the top team and key senior management teams
  2. Offering our Purpose to Impact™ program to employees globally

By the end of a 5-year period, encompassing the pandemic years, over 2500 employees at every level of the organization – from C-1 to retail store managers – had opted to do the program. Program delivery included both in-person and virtual formats. As demand increased, we leveraged internal client alumni to help deliver the program. These individuals were energized to ‘model the way,’ while also benefiting from experiencing a deeper dive into the world of purpose and impact as leaders.

One of our favorite adventures has been working with the top 100 leaders in our client’s marketing organization. CLI is proud to have made a small contribution to our client becoming one of the most popular brand channels on YouTube – the creation of this ambitious goal occurred in one of our programs as an expression of one individual’s purpose!
